The AVACEN is a medical device that uses leading-edge technology for pain management and muscle relaxation. Many have basic questions about the technology of the AVACEN and product specifics. Some of the answers to most common questions appear here.
What are the AVACEN 100, PRO, 100-E & Pro-E?
The AVACEN series of devices uses gentle heat therapy, negative pressure to increase local circulation and infuses heat into the unique vascular network in the palm of the hand. This method is called “single point treatment” which can be effective for pain management and muscle relaxation.
The AVACEN 100 and Pro are considered medical devices that are sold only in the United States and are not eligible for export to any other country. The AVACEN 100-E family of devices are sold internationally for personal use only and is not marketed, sold or distributed as a medical device; nor do they qualify for any medical claim or indications, implicit or implied.
Is the AVACEN 100 Health Canada Approved and/or Sold in Canada?
No! The AVACEN 100 is not sold outside the United States.
NuLife Ventures does, however—on a very limited basis—make the AVACEN 100-E family of devices available internationally. Where the 100-E family is made available, it is sold for personal-use-only; and is not marketed, sold or distributed as a medical device. The AVACEN 100-E family of devices are non-invasive, palm warming devices, with no associated medical claims, implicit or implied.
What is “single point treatment?”
Single point treatment incorporates heat therapy and negative pressure. When the temperature of blood increases at this single point it is rapidly circulated throughout the body via the circulatory system.
How do I use an AVACEN device?
Using the AVACEN is simple. Begin by placing your hand into the AVACEN for a treatment session. Session durations can range from ten to thirty minutes depending on your needs. Instructions are presented on the device’s Display Screen. If you use your device’s default preset, a single button press is required.
What is The AVACEN Care Method?
All AVACEN devices use the AVACEN Care Method (ACM), a non-invasive pain management platform. Utilizing a sealed microprocessor-controlled chamber, where the hand is placed in a negative pressure environment while heat is gently added to the palm of the hand. The negative pressure inside the chamber increases blood volume in the vascular network of the palm. The heat transferred to the palm inside the chamber then radiates throughout the expanded vascular network of the body.
What’s the difference between AVACEN Care Method and warm water?
Normally, when a hand is placed in warm water, the thermoregulation system of the body protects the body from excessive heat by constricting the vascular system. The unique nature of the AVACEN Care Method has been shown to bypass this natural response by applying negative pressure which dilates the vascular network, allowing heated blood to safely and freely flow into – and out from – the palm of the hand.
Is the AVACEN Care Method right for me?
Are you interested in a drug-free alternative to self-care with no side effects? If the answer is yes, then the AVACEN Care Method may well be the option for you. The drug-free system employed by the AVACEN device helps avoid the side effects caused by other options, like medication, which may damage the heart, liver and other organs. As with any treatment, you should always consult your doctor before using the AVACEN device, or any other therapy system. Especially if you are under 18 years of age, pregnant; have a history of blood circulation problems, heart disease, body temperature regulation problems or other medical conditions.
What are the chances that the AVACEN will work for me?
Your chances are pretty good. In fact, about 9 out of 10 users report some level of relief, but you’ll never know if you don’t try. That’s why our money-back guarantee was created. We trust the AVACEN Care Method and believe you will too, so our guarantee ensures anyone can try it with as little risk as possible. We’re confident you’ll love your AVACEN device as much as we do. So far, 90% of our users feel better. 70% have expressed a reduced need for – or reliance on — prescription medications.
Is the AVACEN Care Method really that simple?
Yes! After all, the simplest solution is often the best (Occam’s Razor). The AVACEN’s gentle, straightforward method of increasing the body’s blood temperature from within is the key to the AVACEN Care Method. The unique network of blood vessels in the palms of your hand makes them one of the best places to apply heat therapy. Your body’s natural thermoregulation system causes the heart to pump more blood to your hands and feet in an effort to dissipate the added heat. [If you’ve ever cooled yourself off by sticking your foot outside of the covers at night, you get the idea.] Simply put, the AVACEN Care Method continuously adds heat to the circulatory system, encouraging the body’s blood vessels and capillaries to expand, increasing the flow of warm blood throughout the body, rushing warm, relaxing relief throughout the body.
